How do I become certified? To become an Apple Certified Pro you must pass an online exam administered at an Apple Authorized Training Center. The Level One exams are administered at the end of specific courses facilitated at the Centers, or if you prefer to learn on your own or believe you already have the necessary skill-set in your chosen application you may register to take the exam at an Authorized Training Center for a fee. Level Two exams can only be taken in conjunction with the advanced classes taught at the Apple Authorized Training Centers. How do I become a Pro Tools Operator? Complete all 100- and 200-level courses and course projects/exercises at our official Digidesign training partner facility. Pass each course completion exam and pass the final Pro Tools Operator certification exam at our official Digidesign training partner facility. An expert will need to complete the 300 level course and pass the exam.
How long is certification? Pro Tools Certification does not have a fixed duration. Instead, you are certified for a particular version of Pro Tools software. Certified Pro Tools Operators and Experts have an option to update their certification by taking the Pro Tools 220 update course and exam.
What is the cost of the Apple or Pro Tools exam? Non-students $150.00 Students and Graduates of Madison Media Institute $75

Is the Certification test included in the course fee? Yes. Do I have to pay for the course before the class starts? Yes.
Can students take a Level 2 exam without taking a class? No. Students must take the exam with a class. Students are also required to have a Level 1 Certification. Students are limited to one try per week if they fail the exam. They should wait approximately until the 8th day to retake it.
Can I receive Financial Aid for these classes? Some other reimbursement options are available to those who qualify.
